“YKB” - Family of Things | Review

“YKB” by Family of Things is an indie rock, indie-electro that makes me forget the world around me. All I want to do is dance.

The jazzy intro is full of bass and synths that create a lively beat. This song has some serious rhythm. Their vocals and hypnotic head voice showcase the great range and make for an extremely catchy melody. It epitomizes joy and spontaneity both musically and lyrically. They talk about chasing someone’s love and being “stuck in this moment forever” while creating a vivacious party atmosphere with the production.

Family of Things is an indie band from Hamilton, Ontario. The duo of Aaron Brown and Bradley Barnham are known for tier sensitive songwriting, boundless vocals, rhythmic integrity, and quality production. They self-produced 2016 debut EP, Family of Things, their producer and friend, Peter Mol. The EP has reached over 750,000 streams on Spotify while topping playlists for New Music Friday and Indie Allstars.
