"Snow in the Summer" by Vilhelm Buchaus| Review

“Snow in the Summer” is a 2000s pop rock anthem of not belonging anywhere with a desire to live freely. It is perfect to sing along to on the radio, Bluetooth, or AUX while driving down a back road. With Vilhelm Buchaus’ vocals, catchy melodies, and strong music production, “Snow in the Summer” is an instant replayer showcasing his musical growth. The guitars and drums are chef kisses. And don’t get me started on that nasty hook leading up to the chorus! I picture “Snow in the Summer” synched in a young adult coming-of-age movie as an opening or credit scene.

Describing "Snow In The Summer" as his most candid and vulnerable creation yet, Buchaus reflects on the challenges of finding his place in the world, and grappling with unanswered questions and fleeting dreams. Buchaus’ single will be released on May 17, accompanied by a performance video filmed by Sune Chee. If you’re looking for a feel-good song this upcoming summer, add it to your playlist.

Vilhelm Buchaus is a singer-songwriter based in Stockholm. He had a big interest in music at an early age, writing songs and playing multiple instruments at age 6. Buchaus eventually taught himself to play instruments and how to sing, taking artistic inspirations from Ed Sheeran, Bruce Springteen, John Mayer, and The 1975.

Burchaus performed on Swedish TV song competition, Lilla Melodifestivalen, twice - as a solo artist and as a boy band member. On April 28, 2023, Buchaus released his first song “First Cut” and followed up with four more singles which were released monthly. His ability to put feelings and personal experience into words demonstrates his incredible talent as a writer and artist. “Snow in the Summer” is a glimpse into Buchaus’ first EP, which is set to be released
