I’m convinced that Alanna Matty looked straight into my brain to write “Restless”.
With absolutely gorgeous vocals and simple guitar chords, Matty delivers an almost uncomfortably relatable storyline that had me feeling called out within the first verse. Whether it’s moving away for an escape, realizing what you’re missing out on while you’re gone, or feeling like you’re wasting your life if you’re not constantly doing something, she speaks to everything I’ve struggled with (and still do), and helped me feel a lot less alone by doing so.
