Federico Stock wrestles with his own mortality in “Little Cross”.
This track put words to a feeling that has always lingered in my mind, but I’ve never been able to explain. With delicate guitar and soft vocals, Stock somehow made the terrifying concept of our own mortality much less intimidating - maybe even comforting. There’s beauty in the way we handle passing, and the little cross that Stock sings about proves that.
Singer-songwriter Federico Stock takes inspiration from a wide variety of influences, including Elliot Smith and Sufjan Stevens.
