Whether it’s your last final before the summer break, a tough breakup or simply a lingering bit of melancholy, “Like It Like This” by The Two Romans is the song for you.
It’s a pick-me-up song with some radical acceptance that can help anyone expel their dreariness and replace it with joy. The Two Romans are led by Mattia and Samuele who are in the Swiss "Eurovision" entrance songwriting team. In “Like It Like This” they sing lyrics like “If you can find peace in the winter/ Your life will be feeling like spring” to a plucky backing track that is sure to have you screaming “I like it like this!” with them by the end.
They have played a few festivals which isn’t surprising given the feeling this song leaves me with and their debut album Everything.Now! entered was 4th on the Swiss charts. They are also growing streams in Germany and Switzerland. I’d say this song is worth it to add this song to any uplifting playlists for something that has a similar upbeat mood as AJR and in some ways twentyonepilots. I for one am excited to see what The Two Romans will be releasing next cause I know I’m going to need quite a few pick me up songs to get me through the year!
