Buzzy, funky indie-pop from Texas singer-songwriter, Alex O’aiza, with guest bars from rising Dallas rapper, Nojo Wallace, creates a groovy funky rock song.
The new song follows hot on the heels of Alex’s recent buzzy ‘Teather’ and ‘Money’ singles and showcases his smooth croon alongside rolling RnB beats and scuzzy vintage rock riffs.
"Keeper is about betrayal, and serves as a stepping stone in my personal and artistic growth,” explains O’aiza on the new song. “This song is my first involving a featured artist, and I couldn’t be happier about how the whole thing turned out! Nojo is a talented 19-year-old rapper from the Fort Worth area, and he really exploited the theme of the tune and just took it to a whole other level. It was inspired by my negative experiences from my previous musical project, but I guess betrayal in life and in relationships is a pretty universal experience and is something everyone can relate to. Finally, to wrap it all up, the talented director Iliana Aragon (from Dallas as well) did a phenomenal job in taking my vision for this song, and ended up turning it into an exciting piece of visual art.”
Alex O'aiza is a solo indie-rock artist from Dallas, Texas with a mission to inspire power in the masses by encouraging them to become the change they want in their lives. His solo singles Money andTether drew on gritty blues, snappy garage rock and modern pop beats and with new material scheduled for release throughout 2019, he’s building strong press buzz and real musical momentum.
