If you told me “GIRL’S GIRL” was a track on BRAT, I would probably believe you.
From the catchy, infectious beat to lyrics that made my jaw drop, it has all the elements of a quintessential song for brat summer. The track is written from the point of view of a girl who finds out that another girl is hitting on her boyfriend, and they both end up laughing at her together. “You’re not a girl’s girl / I’m not an idiot” is the beginning of the chorus, and the perfect way to sum up the song. She knows her place, and she puts this girl in hers!
