With his signature, recognizable vocals, Shaun Mbah’s voice pronounces his presence before anything else can. Brimming with confidence, Mbah has a voice that would be wholly difficult to replicate or emulate. A London-based British-Nigerian multi-hyphenate talent, Mbah is capable of many musical feats - he is a singer, rapper, songwriter, sound engineer, and producer, and his talents are truly endless.
His journey dates back far. In 2015, he began his music-making journey under the alias of 'King Shaun'. He alludes to music as his own means of communication and expression. Mbah makes music with dreamers like himself in mind, and he truly hopes that his music will be the reason for unity amongst people, and will allude to the spreading of love and positivity amongst many.
He creates a reputation as an artist who can experiment with as many genres as his passion can reach. He is heavily influenced by his culture - a talent stemming from a generation of Nigerian music artists creating and being successful in their preferred styles of music, and not necessarily always solely following societal norms and expectations. Mbah’s talent speaks for itself, and his journey is sure to expand farther and wider than ever before.
