Have you ever been in a relationship where the love just died out unfortunately?
Artist, Ben Imber, has that’s why he wrote “Better Days,” a song about the days following after a relationship like that ends. The song starts off by discussing how it can be painful to feel stuck in a relationship that has faded out, but then halfway through the song it opens up with really light and ambient sounds and starts discussing the more optimistic things that can happen after leaving that relationship. “Better Days,” is about new beginnings in the end.
“Better Days,” is a beautiful song, in my opinion, I love the duality of it and how it starts off one way but finishes another. I think it takes a lot of talent to write a song that sounds like two completely different songs and has two completely different meanings. Imber did a wonderful job on this track and I will definitely be adding it to a few of my playlists.
Based out of Bristol, UK, Ben Imber, also known as IMBER and Aforest, is a singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. “Better Days,” is the first single off of his upcoming album Forwards which is co-produced by Producer and collaborator Jack Shuter. Imber is influenced by artists such as Bon Iver and Billie Eilish, and many others.
