"15" Will Conn | Review

Will Conn captures the feeling of nostalgia perfectly in “15”.

The main line of the chorus, “Take me back to 15”, hit me hard as someone who constantly aches for the simplicity of being 15 again. No job, no bills, no real responsibilities… when hanging out with friends and learning to drive were the main focuses of my life. Conn seems to feel the same way, as he sings “Take me back to barefoot running in the yard with my brother and my dog / when did life become so hard?” His beautiful voice and the catchy beat truly do these lyrics justice.

24-year-old Will Conn is a native of Sydney, Australia. He is deeply influenced by two individuals in particular: his grandfather Denis O’Dell, a British filmmaker known for his work with the Beatles, and star Ed Sheeran. His passion for singing and songwriting is clear in his work, and we’ll see this displayed again in his new single “MARATHON”, out November 3rd.
